Ann Hirsh Obituary

Ann Marie Kowalski Hirsh passed away peacefully on September 20, 2021 at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse. Ann was a life resident of Baldwinsville, born to John and Mary Kowlaski on March 22nd, 1943. She was a graduate of Baldwinsville High School, and went to work at Suroco for many years and then retired from Conifer Village in Baldwinsville.
Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great grandma and loved her family and friends more than anything else. She met the love of her life, Richard P. Hirsh in high school. Ann and Richard spent 61 years living their life to the fullest. She loved traveling to the Adirondacks and spending summers on Tupper Lake, bowling, dancing, playing slots at the casino, and her cash word scratch offs.  She will especially be remembered for hosting her monthly family birthday celebrations, the yearly Christmas Eve party, her beautiful, over the top Christmas gift wrapping, and her delicious homemade pies.
She is survived by her husband, Richard P. Hirsh, children, Kathy Hirsh Schneider, Richard (Teri) Hirsh, Amy Hirsh, Karen (PJ) McCLeery, a brother- John (Pat) Kowalski, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
