Dan Patrick Finn

Dan Patrick Finn October 2, 2020 Dan Patrick Finn, born April 6, 1952, also known as Herk, passed away from cancer, in his home, surrounded by family on October 2, 2020. Dan was one of six children born to the late Clarence and Grace Finn. He is survived by his former spouse Maureen; sons, Mike (Kathy) and Dann (Nicole); daughters, Kelly and Katie; grandchildren, Keri, Sofia, Kevin, Abigail, Addison, Jackson, Colin, and Ashlynn; his significant other, Dolores Hackett, as well as her five children. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Janice (Ernie), Linda, Denise (Pat), Midge (John), and Melanie (Rock.) Dan was raised in Waterville, NY where he graduated high school in 1971. He has been a resident of Baldwinsville since 1983. He was employed for years at Anheuser Busch where he made many lifelong friendships and fought for justice and workers' rights as a proud teamster. He was an avid reader, enjoyed being in golf leagues with friends, played and coached basketball, played guitar, loved music, The Buffalo Bills, and SU sports. Since childhood, he spent his summers on Bradley Brook Lake, at camp, where many family memories were made. Dan is most remembered for his kind heart, humor, and compassion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours will be held at Gates Funeral Home, 29 W. Genesee St., Baldwinsville, on Thursday, October 8 from 4-8
