Ralph Edward Dodge

Ralph “Edward” Dodge died peacefully at home on December 12,2020. He was born to Earl and Florence Dodge on April 29, 1938 in Syracuse, NY. He grew up in Lafayette, NY.

He worked as a steamfitter out of Local Oswego 273 and was a 30 year member. He enjoyed woodworking, shooting trap and skeet, and hunting. The most important priorities were his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and his four legged friend, Rudy.

Ed was survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Karen;  children, Jeffrey, Lisa and Edward (Amylynn), grandchildren, Lacey (Paul) McGetrick, Allison (Drew) Gunnip and Kaitlyn Dodge, 7 great grandchildren, siblings, Gertrude Galvin, Marilyn O’Mara, Lenny (Suzanne) and Bruce (Laura), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Joel, his parents, and siblings, Eleanor, Lois, James and Richard. 

We cannot express how thankful we are for family and friends for the support that was given thoughout the trying times. We would also like to thank Patti and Naomi from Hospice for the outstanding care and support.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
